Queen for seven days has confirmed my earlier fears, talking about melodramas are so difficult. you do not know how to lighten the mood since all you are writing about is generally soo sad.

Well, if it is worth it, then we have to talk about it. Queen for seven days is a historical drama that replays the true events of one of the most wicked Kings,  King Yeonsangun played by (Lee Dong-gun ) as Lee Yoong in the history of Korea. A difficult love story between a king, Lee Yeok (Yun Woo Jin) and his queen, Shin Kyae- Kyung (Park Min Young) who was disposed of after seven days.

This drama portrays the intense felt by these two even though they could not be with each other at all times.

This drama gives us a lot of the common stuff we want in K-dramas; good cast, nice cinematography, great wardrobe, and superb OSTs. The drama cleanly told the sad ancient history of Korea.

However, were we viewers ready for the heartache and turmoil this non-fiction drama put us through? It’s a hell no for me. This drama gave us too

This drama gave us too much-mixed emotions. It simply reminds me of Scarlet heart . At least, scarlet heart was not this sad. We cried from the word go and it would be impossible to get a happy ending considering the plot but we still wished for it with all our hearts. At least, that will ease the heartache.

I kept wondering why humans will want to amass so much power and exert such cruelty. We always relief our fears by saying they are crazy and all, but such people exist and mind you, most of them are not crazy. They are plain wicked. Queen for seven days awakens me to be more positive in everything I do. My little positive efforts could bring relief to someone out there.
